community hall and pavilion
Inspired by the water and activities available on site, this pavilion and community hall enhance the community of Lowell. The pavilion takes the sculptural form of sails, arranged to allow visitors to wander through them and find their own path, catering the experience to their taste. In opposition, the community hall guides visitors to a single entry point, creating a shared moment for anyone experiencing the building and the surrounding space. Nestled into the slope, the community hall becomes a cozy place to take refuge inside the landscape, allowing people to experience the environment in a new way.
